TLC Leadership Charter Schools are intentionally small K-12 schools with a strong focus on high academic standards, social-emotional health, and community service. What does it cost to attend?
TLC Leadership Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school. There is no cost to apply or attend.
Who can attend the school?
Any student in Kindergarten through grade 12 who resides in Pennsylvania or Ohio can attend TLC Leadership Charter School.
Where will the school be located?

Will you offer transportation?
The student’s home public school district is required by law to provide transportation if your home address is less than 10 miles from the charter school address. Otherwise, parents must provide transportation.
What kind of curriculum is taught?
The school emphasizes STEAM education at all grade levels K-12. This includes a comprehensive computer science curriculum, a dedicated STEAM teacher and project-based learning that equips students with the knowledge and skills to solve 21st century problems while developing fluency with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
What is project-based learning?
Project-based learning is a student-centered approach in which students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve real-world problems.
Do you have coaches and counselors on campus?
Yes! Social-emotional support is integrated into each day. We offer group and individual coaching counseling, as well as comprehensive college and career counseling.
Do you accept students with IEPs / ELL?
Yes! As a Pennsylvania public charter school, TLC Leadership Charter Schools accept all students and do not discriminate on the basis of disability or English Language proficiency. We enroll and provide educational services to special education and English learner students.
Will sports be offered?
Yes, middle and high school aged students will have the opportunity to participate in sports such as tennis, golf, and cross country during the school’s initial years. In later years, TLC Leadership will introduce intramural team sports such as soccer, baseball, and volleyball. Extracurricular physical recreation activities will include various clubs including running, strength training, yoga, and mindfulness.
What is the staff to student ratio?
We offer small class sizes with a staff to student ratio of 1:12
How do I enroll my child(ren)?
We will soon be accepting pre-enrollment applications for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your child in TLC Leadership Charter School, please complete an interest form. Please complete a separate form for each child you would like to enroll.
